In September, Hanersun announced that it had signed a module supply agreement with Tecnologia Energetica Eficiente (referred to as TEFT). The framework comprises the supply of at least 200MW of Hanersun high-efficiency PV modules destined for the Spain market in the coming year, with the first batch of modules shipped earlier this month.
As a well-known distributor of PV products in Spain, TEFT’s business scope covers PV modules, energy storage, system installation, and other ancillary services, with rich experience and a convenient transport network. This cooperation is an essential agreement between the two parties in the field of module export and paves the way for broader cooperation in the future.
Spain is geographically advantageous in the south of Europe, having abundant light resources. In 2022, the cumulative installed solar capacity in Spain reached more than 25GW, ranking second in Europe. In June this year, Spain’s Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) updated its draft National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP), which plans to increase the solar target to 76GW by 2030, almost double the previously expected installed capacity of 39GW, which leads to a vast market potential.
The agreed products include the 700W of N-type modules launched by Hanersun at the beginning of this year, which are based on advanced 210mm TOPCon cell platform, combining the advantages of high power output, high efficiency, high power generation, high reliability, and low cost of electricity, and is suitable for large-scale ground-mounted power plants.
