Hanersun’s All Module Series Obtains Class 1 Fire Safety Certification for the Italian Market

At the beginning of the year, Hanersun’s all module series has successfully passed a series of rigorous tests, securing the highest level fire safety certification (Class 1) in the Italian market. This certification underscores Hanersun’s commitment to high quality and reliability in the global market.

Italy, revered as the cradle of European art, is known for its stringent building protection standards, especially in the wake of incidents like the Notre-Dame Cathedral fire. In response, the Italian Cabinet has implemented rigorous safety standards for building components, including PV modules.

The UNI9177 (from class 1 to 5, with class 1 representing the highest standard) is considered as the “most strict” fire safety certification in Europe. It is required to comprehensively determine the resistance of the module surface to the flame and the combustion condition of the module under the influence of the fire and radiant heat, and finally delimit the score and grade according to various test coefficients. Only when Class 1 results are obtained in both UNI8457 and UNI9174 tests will the solar module be classified as UNI917(Class 1) and receive the highest fire protection certificate.

Among the certified products, the Hanersun HITOUCH 5N module series stands out with its superior performance.
