Hanersun Achieves Colombian RETIE Certification for Full Range of N-Type Modules

Last month, Hanersun successfully passed the Colombian RETIE (REGLAMENTO TECNICO DE INSTALACIONES ELECTRICAS) standards testing and quality control audit, officially receiving RETIE certification from the certified authority Vtek Group. This certification bolsters Hanersun’s expansion efforts in the Colombian market.

Hanersun Achieves Colombian RETIE Certification for Full Range of N-Type Modules

The certified HITOUCH 5N and HITOUCH 6N series modules feature in industry-leading TOPCon technology, offering high efficiency, high power output, exceptional reliability, and low degradation. These advantages significantly reduce the balance of system (BOS) costs and levelized cost of energy (LCOE), ensuring greater returns for local projects.

RETIE certification is mandatory for all electrical products in Colombia and serves as an essential qualification for solar modules to enter the market. The certification process includes rigorous testing and audits based on International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards, such as IEC 61215 and IEC 61730, ensuring that products meet high standards of durability, safety, and performance. Vtek Group, authorized by Colombia’s national accreditation body ONAC, conducted a comprehensive audit of Hanersun’s production facilities and sample modules, confirming that Hanersun’s N-type modules adhere to Colombian regulations and are qualified for sale and installation in the country.

With its abundant solar radiation resources, Colombia’s solar industry is flourishing, driven by rapidly decreasing module prices and supportive government incentives. According to BloombergNEF, annual solar installation in Colombia are projected to reach nearly 1.5 GW in 2024, marking a substantial leap from 300 MW in 2023.

Hanersun is committed to deepening its presence in the Colombian market, dedicated to providing green and sustainable energy solutions across Latin America and globally.
